The wind rustles and leaves rattle against the cool, fall air. The sounds of distant whispers carry on the breeze as it passes over the shell of the forest sprit. The lamp flickered as the flame inside fought for its life. Our little spirit’s façade shivered to the lack of warmth they felt. What was it going to find out here? It had to find its friend, but it’s been turned around. Not even the lost woods could compare to this feeling of confusion. They were disoriented in this darkness, and nothing good could be lurking here.
There; another rattling. Something sees them. The forest spirit can feel it in their half wakened soul that’s bound to this plane. Being seen isn’t something these creatures are used to, which is all the more worrisome as a beastly hand begins to reach towards the unknowing forest spirit…
